A method proposed to restore the hearing, when injured from an obstruction of the tuba Eustachiana.Phil. Trans., 49, 213-22, London, 1756.Wathen condemned Guyot’s method of Eustachian catheterization, and suggested a method of relieving catarrhal deafness by means of injections into the Eustachian tube through a catheter passed into the nose.
