Dissertatio academica de cancro.Paris: apud De Hansy juniorem, 1774.Peyrilhe was the first to attempt an experimental study to determine the nature of cancer. He injected fluid from human mammary cancer into a dog; however, the dog howled and aggravated his housekeeper, who drowned it.
